But can it make a damn fine cup of coffee?

Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen.

Unfortunately it didn't come with a diner, a necessary part of damn fine cups of coffee.

But it did come with David Lint, which is probably just as good

A Jurassic Park thing popped into my head: Wild resurrected David Lynches wandering a preserve, chasing hapless tourists.

Re-reading my earlier reply reminds me that David Lynch was a regular for decades at Bob's Big Boy, a chain diner in Burbank, CA.

There he was often seen for hours enjoying chocolate milkshakes and coffee, which no doubt was damn fine.

After Lynch's death, fans left an impromptu memorial at the diner's mascot statue.

I always knew James Hoffman is the same kind of weird goblin thing as me, but now I have video evidence.

Wow. Lucky bastard that won that thing! I would love to have a coffee maker featured by my favorite coffee man and previously owned by my favorite director! What incredible provenance!
