Emphasizing the strength of the dungeon critters...

@rikka@ani.social

... made a pretty good setup for the battle, which I enjoyed frame stepping through.

It seems like the worst kept secret ever, doesn't it?

I didn't see this /c in this URL's crossposted list

Confusingly, the test API for this is named voyager.lemmy.ml

I haven't bought anything off Amazon for years.

If I can't find it locally, then I will literally go to any website other than Amazon: The manufacturer's website, department store websites, Target, eBay, trying to avoid Walmart.

Indeed, the next time I reloaded the app, it was automagically updated to v2.24.2, and the red notification was gone.

There's a red "1" notification on the Settings button at the bottom right, but I have no idea what it is.

Clicking on the button just opens Settings, no markings saying what the notification is related to.

Poking around a couple of settings didn't reveal anything.

On Android, v2.24.0

FIXED - It was a notification that an upgrade was available.

You could fill that space with just about anything:

"Destroy USAID"

"Fire All Inspectors General"

"Impose Tariffs On Allies"

Also see Psyger-0/Rei Saiga from Shangri-La Frontier, whose avatar is suit of armor with a full head coverage helmet

Having reusable cool looking transformation and attack sequences is nothing new, but having the main character's face constantly covered by hair so they mostly don't have to animate her eyes and mouth is a new one on me.

It's definitely Tiger Mask

Here's a compilation of fight highlights from the original 1960s show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfFOPXYd1K0

Here's a fight from a later version, Tiger Mask W, from 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfzU_2B9iss

Credible moves that are mostly banned because they're dangerous to the wrestlers.

As others have pointed out, the main point of this episode is the missile scenes, in particular from Macross.

I would also point out that the Void ship has an "eye" front that vaguely resembles the Zentraedi mobile fortress from the show.

Miyazaki worked on the 1979 show.

On scene design and layout and composition according to anilist.co

It would be nicer if they pointed out any mines found, but that may be difficult with all the dust.

I see that the official Matt Leacock's Pandemic boardgame adaptation on Android was abandoned by Asmodee, allegedly due to various quality problems.

There are a few versions floating out there in various apk archives, and even something called "Pandemic" in the Google Play store by some outfit named Seadex that I have no idea whether is anything related to the original boardgame.

Does anyone have a favorite implementation of the Pandemic boardgame they can recommend?

Nice photo set.

Me in the future: "Nobody watches anime anymore. It's too popular"

Ampere Analysis sees that anime has become a mainstream culture in the U.S. and Europe with significant potential for expansion from $31.2 billion in 2023 to $60.1 billion by 2030.

Spotify (SPOT) also reported an increase of 395% in anime music streams since 2021.
