I'm trying to think of physical goods I'd be willing to sacrifice a life for (not mine, someone else's). Food aside (which doesn't really count) I'd 100% burn down all the world's cities to save one life ... nevermind I found the line.

Housing the homeless is worth a human life. 100 homes per life I'll say.

Trains too. I'd sacrifice a life to save a train line (not mine, someone else's).

The lives of animals are also worth more than property. It's honestly disgusting how people justify exterminating entire ecosystems just to build a golf course or sports stadium or something.

Not just golf courses or stadiums. Also farms for domesticated animals. I want to say that the largest biome in the world now is pasture for cows. Sad

It's also pretty disgusting how people are okay with taking a life just because they feel like having a burger, and not only the rich are guilty of that one

The people against veganism always have this doublethink of humans being both superior to all other animals yet can't and shouldn't move past their predatory instincts. If we're so advanced and civilized you'd think we'd move on to more ethical and efficient ways of getting nutrients.

We humans sure do like to assign value to things. Unfortunately that value has no weight outside human society. I have no value or meaning and I know that as an absolute truth.

@the_q Just because something is socially constructed doesn't mean it isn't real.

His life sure, but not his ability to keep fucking shit up for others.

@Zachariah Yes, though given he was a soldier and did indeed kill people, I think it speaks more to the inherent worthlessness of private property.
