The first paragraph

Just months into the tenure of a new party leader, Ken Martin, the Democratic National Committee’s financial situation has grown so bleak that top officials have discussed whether they might need to borrow money this year to keep paying the bills.

The final sentences

[An] early Martin project is a new streaming show on YouTube, “The Daily Blueprint,” which is filmed in a studio with high-end production. The show has drawn a minuscule audience so far, with some episodes scoring fewer than 1,000 views.

He has commissioned a significant postmortem review of the 2024 race, which is being overseen by Paul Rivera, a longtime Democratic strategist, and is set to entail as many as 200 interviews. A final report is expected by the end of the summer.

"Let's spend months and months creating a tedious report that no sane person will read unless they are getting paid for it."

"I have a counterproposal - let's all follow Dril on Twitter. For example - we could start by analyzing his tweet about the Price is Right..."

fewer than 1,000 views

Louis Scott-Vargas gets like 10k views per day using a shitty webcam playing a game on a client from 1997 and he's some literal who.

Less than 1,000 views is in the "School play recorded on someone's iPhone, the audio is all fucked up, the camera shakes, and the only people watching this shit are grandmas who couldn't make it" -tier. In a world that makes sense, anyone working on that DNC channel would never be allowed to have a job in media ever again.

Edit: JFC it's so much worse when you go look at the actual channel lmaooooooooo.....they have over a thousand videos and anything with a significant number of views is all from the Obama admin or Trump's 2015 campaign. Anything from the last 2 years has 300~2,000 views. This is the official Democrat YouTube channel. I'm pretty sure Ben Shapiro has more traffic on single click bait videos than their entire channel combined.

The difference is LSV is actually good at something

[–] Bolshechick@hexbear.net 9 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

I wouldn't say LSV is literally who, he's pretty well know by anyone who's played competitive mtg

Still though, under 1k views is real sad lol

No mass layoffs? No outsourcing to cheaper countries? I guess neoliberal policies are only for the poors.

I would rather donate to someone pointing a gun at me than a democrat because at least the gunman is honest.

We need to come together and focus on the issues at hand. That’s got to happen now. And I mean today. And if that can’t happen, we need to shift course.

Literally meaningless. Like "up to 15% or more," but less clever
