Years ago, I worked IT for a mid-sized law firm. We had a billing coordinator who was a nightmare, constantly accused us of not working when we were doing things like silent network updates or background maintenance.

One day she demands “evidence” of everything IT does. She says she wants timestamped logs, “for accountability.”

My manager shrugged and gave me the go-ahead. So I printed literally everything:

Every login attempt

Every patch download

Every keystroke command

Printer queues

Logoffs

Scheduled jobs

Backups

Error codes

It was 617 pages. I printed it double-sided to be kind. I dropped it on her desk in three binders. She never asked for logs again.
