Israel just carried out a widespread bombing of Iran, which has killed a number of senior officials inside Iran (though it seems the leadership is more-or-less intact) as well as a number of civilians. Important facilities have been targeted, but the amount of damage is unknown so far (note that many important Iranian facilities are deep underground, making them both hard to damage but also hard to determine if they are damaged from just satellite imagery, so reports of damage will be he-said-she-said).

It appears the attack took Iran by surprise, given that a residential block was targeted that contained some senior officials - if one saw an attack coming, one would imagine they'd be in bunkers. Nonetheless, like the rest of the Resistance Axis, I suspect that Iran has adapted their military structures to be resistant to decapitation strikes by ensuring that replacement figures are ready to take the place of killed officials.

Iran has delivered a massive missile barrage in response to Israeli aggression, even though Israel is continuing to bomb Iran. Iran is now aware of the location of many important Israeli sites, including secret nuclear sites, due to their recent intelligence haul, giving them a distinct edge.

Israel-Palestine Conflict

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

UNRWA reports on Israel's destruction and siege of Gaza and the West Bank.

Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists
Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Sources:

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Pro-Russian Telegram Channels:

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.
https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.
https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.
https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.
https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.
https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.
https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine Telegram Channels:

Almost every Western media outlet.

From the Iranian Seismological Center:

Is this a regular ass earthquake with the worst possible timing, or could this be something else? I imagine an earthquake signature would be different from a nuclear test or a malfunction at the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (~30km northeast), right?

I'll admit I'm pleasantly surprised at the people around me's reactions to Isn'treal being blasted. Even my pacifist lib mom just shrugged and said "well you reap what you sow, they can't be surprised someone hit them back".

Israel is still getting to high Iran officials

The intelligence chief of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad Kazemi, and his deputy were killed in Israel's attacks on Tehran on Sunday, Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency said.

I hope I'm not making you think of yet another thing to worry about. I hope I don't have conspiracy theory brain but it's weird to me how there's been no news about bird flu in the US for - I dunno - ~2 weeks? It's hard (if not impossible) for me to think everything is hunky-dory.

Yesterday was the largest single day protest in American history. Mobilized anti-Trump resistance is exceeding 2017 levels.

Based on hundreds of crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don't have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6m people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday. Even when you correct for population, No Kings was still the biggest. Nearly 2% of the adult US population turned out to protest.

Assassinations, Violence and Increasing Turmoil: America in Unrest

Over the last several days, global attention has understandably been focused on the Israeli aggression in the Middle East but events domestically in America have continued to unravel. Among the notable events that many may have missed: Two days ago, U.S. Senator for California Alex Padilla stormed a speaking event by DHS Secretary Noem and was arrested by Federal agents.

This provoked Governor Newsom to call the Trump Administration tyrannical and this came on the heels of the Governor sharing the “California Republic” State flag, move many took as possibly a warning to Washington.

In a bizarre series of late night legal actions, a Federal judge first ruled the President Trump had unlawfully federalized the California National Guard and ordered its return back to Governor Newsom’s control just for said ruling to be vacated temporarily by another Federal Judge in defense of Trump’s actions.

On the basis of the injunction, President Trump then signaled a willingness to expand the use of Federalization orders to other National Guards as well as the possible deployment of U.S. Marines to other cities. This was met by fury by multiple Democratic Governors.

Yesterday, U.S. Marines were deployed for the first time to Los Angeles where they conducted their first arrest of a protester. Governor Newsom has continued to rail against the use of active duty U.S. Military forces being used in a policing role.

Finally, today in Minnesota the majority leader of the State House (The chief legislative body of Minnesota) was asssassinated along with her Husband by a former appointee of the Governor. In the suspect’s car was found many materials pertaining to the “No Kings” Protests currently sweeping the nation, suggesting a political linkage between the event and the movement. Of note, the assassinated legislator had recently been the deciding vote in abolishing State funding for healthcare for illegal immigrants; this is notable given the Anti-ICE element of the current protests.

Trump vetoed Israeli plan to kill Iran's supreme leader, US officials say

They said the Israelis reported that they had an opportunity to kill the top Iranian leader, but Trump waved them off of the plan.

Bullshit?

Israel loves making these sorts of statements, it's very "the only thing stopping us from murdering you is our mercy" coded. It's also, unfortunately, very probably true, given that Iran seems to have bad opsec around the movements and locations of their senior officials.

My prediction, and I don't think it's very bold, is that Khamenei will not survive this conflict. I also don't think it matters terribly much in the grand scheme of things. He's 86 years old. The idea that Iranian state stability is vested in somebody who could, at any moment, die of natural causes is pretty entertaining, especially given that he's relatively moderate as he has prevented Iran from gaining a nuke via fatwa. Killing him would not only be mostly symbolic because of those reasons, but it would give Iran an excuse - to the extent that it needs it anymore - to hit basically anything in Israel with basically anything they want. Israel adores these sorts of counterproductive moves that "own the ~~libs~~ Resistance" under their weird Great Man Theory conception of the world.

I was looking into how Iran has organized its nuclear enrichment out of curiosity. From a Simplicius article from a couple days ago:

One analyst states:

Grossi said: “I’ve been there multiple times. To reach it, one must go deep, then deeper, and deeper still. Iran’s nuclear program cannot be destroyed by an attack.”

He’s right. The world’s most powerful bunker-buster, the GBU-57, can only penetrate 66 meters, while even the latest nuclear bomb can only impact up to 500 meters underground.

Iran has placed its IR-9 centrifuges on shock-absorber systems, capable of withstanding 6.0 Richter scale earthquakes. These sites lie deep within mountains.

Israel does not have the GBU-57; only the US does, and only B-2 bombers can carry them — 2 bombs per jet. To destroy just one Iranian site at 800m depth, the US would need to drop at least 12 bombs precisely at one spot — requiring 6 bombers per site.

Iran is believed to have at least 5 such deep nuclear sites. To destroy them all, the US would need to deploy 30 B-2 bombers, but it only has 18 total. Meaning, at least 2 Iranian sites will survive.

Moreover, Iran has not built straight shafts. After every 50 meters, tunnels twist hundreds of meters sideways before going down again — making pinpoint strikes nearly impossible. Even if the first bomb hits, the remaining 11 could hit empty ground.

In short, Iran’s underground nuclear infrastructure is now too deep, too complex, and too protected to be taken out militarily.
