Eager but tentative?
Usually tentative means they are not so eager.
You can have mixed emotions.
"DUDE it would be so rad if we supported Linux! Gotta get a bunch of things cleared first and get permission to take on the extra overhead for testing and... But LINUX SUPPORT!"
I feel like a lot of times when devs say that, they never end up doing it in the end. Anything short of an explicit yes ends up being a no.
eager and tentative seem kinda feel like they are distant opposites in this situation.
