The former prime minister

incredible CV padding

[–] Anomalocaris@lemm.ee 15 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

all the leftists should go there, make it a trans forum, let's see how quickly she starts censoring things there.

[–] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 4 points 5 hours ago

That actually sounds like a good idea. Can you post images? Might start a twink of the week poll.

Any politician launching their own media network is a reprehensible piece of shit.

Prove me wrong.

Counterpoint?Obviously I don't have any examples here.

I'm sorry if I got anyone's hope's up

I hope this was a brief, fun, moment of mystery for a few of us.

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 4 points 17 hours ago

Yeah, they are the exception

[–] LandedGentry@lemmy.zip 33 points 23 hours ago

I felt like I was reading the onion where the real punchline is at the end. “Announced at a cryptocurrency conference” lmao

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 41 points 1 day ago (2 children)

So any of the users will be able to freely tell her to kill herself?

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 27 points 1 day ago

Lol, oh, no. It'll be like Trüf Social where only the platform's dear leader can do that.

[–] hairyfeet@lemmy.ml 9 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Think she has a bigger issue with being told she crashed the economy, after she crashed the economy.

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 7 points 22 hours ago

But it sounds like she want to lettuce say whatever we want!

[–] AFC1886VCC@reddthat.com 30 points 23 hours ago (2 children)

Would be great to put that to the test by spamming it with gay Marxist furry trans atheist content

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 1 points 5 hours ago

But that’s just Lemmy again!

This is the funniest part to me.

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 2 points 5 hours ago

Hopefully the Morris dancers did a display at the opening speech.

[–] stroz@infosec.pub 27 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Can we flood it with Rule 34 lettuce posts?

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Sounds like a plan.

[–] duhbasser@lemm.ee 26 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Whats it going to run on? The vegetable section at the grocery store?

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Not even the vegetables are that dumb.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 14 points 1 day ago

Now accepting bets:: Which will last longer? Her freeze peach network or another head of lettuce?

[–] HootinNHollerin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago) (1 children)

Everyone gonna call it lettuce regardless

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 2 points 7 hours ago

They could capitalize on that, and call it "Let us social!"

That would give it a friendly name and make her more approachable, which is why it won't happen.

[–] SexUnderSocialism@hexbear.net 3 points 18 hours ago

Lettuce Social

[–] Kuori@hexbear.net 3 points 20 hours ago

can't wait to flood it with death threats against every former and current member of the ukkk government wholesome

[–] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 6 points 23 hours ago

Uncritical support to Liz on her quest to destroy the UKKK

[–] thr0w4w4y2@sh.itjust.works 1 points 17 hours ago

Desperate to somehow stay relevant. Shunned by Trump at his inauguration, despised by most of her party and the laughing stock of the opposition.

[–] 58008@lemmy.world 2 points 22 hours ago

Is it so she can say repugnant things about minorities and spread conspiracy theories about matters of public health, or is she actually concerned about Turkey's ability to influence bsky into denying access to individuals for political reasons?

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume she didn't even mention Turkey in her 'talk'.

Anyone else remember the short-lived Matt Hancock app? What is it with Tories and shitty vanity projects?

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 1 points 5 hours ago

Maybe it’s an embezzlement wheeze and they can claim expenses money and have the sole exployee be a vibe coder family member?

[–] drspod@lemmy.ml 5 points 1 day ago

They're easily taken-in by some grifter selling them their software platform. It's the same as all the famous people selling their own cryptocoin that turns out to be a rug-pull - someone approached them and dazzled them with buzzwords and jargon, and all they saw was dollar signs.
