Reminds me of the Hakim anecdote that he walked into a surgeon's office and he had his browser open to the wikipedia page for 'Bones'

I have seen something like that in real life. In school looking up answers is cheating. In real life it is overachieving.

I'm getting my masters right now and I've seen probably a half dozen students who seem to be ChatGTPing their way through the program. Thankfully most professors seem to fail them but I did sit through a presentation by a guy who didn't speak English at all and had slides clearly made by AI and still got a C in the class

Ain't gonna help much in residency or board exams.

You know what you call the person who graduated last in their med school class?

Doctor.

If there's a 100 person class, one person must finish top of the class with the highest GPA, and one must finish on the bottom with the lowest GPA. Both have an MD even though one only squeaked by.

Doctors still get significant on-the-job training. Anyone faking it will be easily weeded out by residency.

To solve this issue, I propose a residency reform to save doctors' time by just letting The Honorable Dr. ChatGPT, P.E., M.D., Ph.D. supervise new doctors
