Pretty much your standard "reincarnated, and getting a fast start to developing my magical powers" story.

This is being played straight.

The only twist is having his prior incarnation being a violent sociopathic conqueror from a somewhat modern technological world, but we'll have to wait and see how that affects things.

Actually, there is one other slight difference from your average reincarnation story: they actually tried to depict how it would really, really suck to be an infant with an adult mind . . . but confined to a crib and with no bowel or bladder control. That's something these stories usually try to gloss over.

Good enough to get the three-episode test, but I don't know that this is something toward which I'd naturally be attracted as a series. The animation definitely left things to be desired.
