I've been slowly chipping away at Red Dead 2 today. Mainly i did the Garden Party and the mission where you rob the River Boat. The river boat you have to board is the one above. The whole mission was a lot of fun and felt like a Ocean 11's style heist kind of. I liked having to watch Strauss's face to tell what poker move to make, especially because i don't know shit about poker.

There's one point at the end where it's out in the middle of the river like whats above. After the robbery goes wrong, you have to fight your way out and Arthur and Co. jump off the side of the ship. When they did that i had a little panic attack because Swimming in this game drains your stamina like crazy.

The garden party mission was also a nice, slow, change of pace from things too. Not much action, the most it had was this section where you sneak around to steal a paper. It was really pretty and i appreciate it for not making you do any shooting.

Finally, i went back to Valentine to finish up a stranger mission, and bumped into Mickey. He's one of my favorite encounters in this game just because of how nice he is, even if he can be a bit odd.

If you finished the Mickey 'questline' you can go back to him in the prologue and speak with him.

Rdr2 is, on par with DS, one of the best cinematic adventures I've ever played.

This makes me want to go back for a 3rd playthrough. Especially since I have a steam deck now and have been playing through older games, like Sekiro right now.
