Ellie Kemper was a Veiled Profit debutante. So it would stand to reason she would like boiled Gatorade. I said what I said!

God damnit, now I want to try that

"Wow, this tastes like hot Gatorade!"

[–] YerbaYerba@lemm.ee 4 points 1 hour ago

Microwave it in the bottle for extra flavor™

How about a nice mug of Dr Pepper?

[–] Aeri@lemmy.world 4 points 2 hours ago

god they were really just trying anything back then

I sadly remember this stupid idea of Hot Dr. Pepper in the 70s.

It was as gross then as it is now, but some of my family actually still do this in Minnesota this time of year. Dr. Pepper, Lemon, Mint and a bit of Rum. Barf.

Does it pair with fish in jello?

[–] comador@lemmy.world 2 points 23 minutes ago* (last edited 21 minutes ago)

Shimp Jello maybe... Lutefisk can probably work too as I have some Minnesota Swedish family who would have that combo in a heartbeat.

For us, it's more of a desert drink mixed with Peacan Pie, Ambrosia salad or popcorn balls... typical Minnesota deserts lol.

[–] AlligatorBlizzard@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

I would try that.

I think there's something in the water and I've clearly lived in Minnesota for too long.

I just keep half full bottles in the car during summer.

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 5 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

What's a summer road trip without several bottles of warm "Gatorade"?

[–] Zron@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

The yellow ones are especially exciting.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago
