They’d be waiting a while for any arms exports from Russia. I recall NATO bombing a Chinese consulate in Serbia during the 90’s to add an extra dimension to this

As far as I understand, there are two reasons other countries cancel their contracts with Russia:

  1. Ukraine has shown that these systems are not up to western systems
  2. Russia had difficulties honoring existing contracts before the Ukraine war and the latter has worsened the situation
