I was a dual national that chose to be a WNA when I was 21. After a few years abroad working I think I want to go back to Indonesia and be with my aging family. Living abroad has not turned out well (cost of living is insane and my quality of life isn't good) and I'm so far away from everyone to a point where I'm not happy anymore and I don't think I want to take my chances moving to a different part of the country since I've done that and my feelings have remained the same. I'm prepared to walk away from my life abroad to move back to Indonesia.

Anyone on this thread went through something similar? What did you end up doing?

If I moved back to Indonesia what steps should I take? Get a KITAP? Try get a Diaspora visa? Do the naturalisasi process? I really don't know where to start so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

In my late 20s. Don't have much baggage. Once I know what I should do it should be a quick transition. Appreciate anyone that can chip in
