Lagi mengobrol sama mama, aku bawa topik soal program makan siang gratis. Respon pertama mama, "dulu aku juga dapat waktu SD, mirip jaman Soeharto ya sekarang."

Ditambah dengan adanya isu libur sebulan, mama juga mikir kalau hidup orang Indonesia dipaksa untuk mengulang masa lalu, tapi nggak tau esensinya apa selain pembuat kebijakan yang pengen namanya disebut terus-terusan.

Kata mama juga, program-program pemerintah yang bercorak "memberi ikan" alih-alih "mengajari memancing" itu ciri khas orba banget. Rakyat dipaksa untuk bergantung pada pemerintah, tapi pemerintahnya sendiri nggak kompeten dan bingung nasib rakyatnya mau dibawa kemana. Rakyat juga nggak dikasih pilihan lain selain menerima aja.

Folks yang hidup di jaman orba sampai 2000-an awal, apakah kalian juga merasakan hal yang sama? Atau mamaku cuma bias aja?
