Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

You put USD...

But we can't buy this one either, right?

@schizoidman except it doesn't offer V2L as standard, it needs an adapter which very likely could void warranties etc. So not practical. Still a great priced EV though!

All the trims can do V2L if warranty is not a concern and the warranty does not void using that feature.

Ambibox GMBH are a company based in Mainz, Germany, specialising in making bidirectional chargers which they have tested on a number of EVs. Their charger has a CCS2 connector and converts the car’s DC output to AC without any modification to the vehicle.

BYD Seagul is $300/kwh. This one seems to be close to $250/kwh (if $16k figure used instead of $26k)

At either price, this is a great complement to home solar, or negative daytime utility prices from mass utility solar, and V2G after dusk. Should pay for the car over its lifetime.
