Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). This choad is as dumb as he is gross.

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 38 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Eww, I saw them play the clip on Majority Report, of him telling that story... I didn't know he was talking about meeting his current wife while he was already fucking married!

Fucking garbage human being

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 36 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

So he didn't get caught up in some unforeseen steamy romance (which still doesn't excuse it)... He literally disabled her vehicle to coerce her into getting in his car so he could hit on her and cheat on his wife.

Yah... These are the woman those ads are targeting... The ones with asshole husbands that have no regard for their opinion

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 16 points 3 weeks ago

All this to a coworker

[–] Bluefalcon@discuss.tchncs.de 13 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

You know what gets the girls going? Death threats. Like use a gun and drug them. Works every time.

[–] ChronosTriggerWarning@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

"Hey, does this napkin smell like chloroform to you..?"

Got this in the mail today:

And while some may claim that “both sides are doing this”, the message coming from Democrats versus Republicans shows a stark difference. One is a political violence threat, the other is a reassurance that abusive husbands like Jesse Watters won’t know who you actually voted for.

[–] ccunning@lemmy.world 23 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

I’m honestly surprised Republicans are doing this unless it’s extremely targeted.

Increasing voter turnout generally works against them.

[–] sensiblepuffin@lemmy.world 9 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I don't know about extremely targeted, but... Tallahasee? They're probably safe there.

[–] Mister_Feeny@fedia.io 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

That's the return address. They mailed it to someone in Orlando, which is a bluer area of the state.

(Although Tallahassee is actually a more blue area as well.)

Ah but it’s also a threat to known democrats. “If we know you’re progressive, we know you voted”. I definitely feel threatened by it. Still gonna vote, I won’t be swayed or scared off.

[–] MeekerThanBeaker@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah. I did about fifty hand written postcards to people in a battleground state with that "who you voted for is secret" message. I didn't add a binoculars drawing to it.

[–] barsquid@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

There is a lot of that shit this year. How do I make it so the assholes sending this cannot contact me ever again? I am sick of this.

The conjecture is that women of a certain age are voting Harris, because they remember what happened before Roe. Doofus thinks that's unfair.

[–] OhStopYellingAtMe@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago

When the woman’s choices are between “I’m with her” or “I’m with herpes,” what do the maga men expect?

[–] Moobythegoldensock@lemm.ee 59 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Bro just basically admitting his relationship is abusive on tv.

[–] apj2k36@lemmy.ml 23 points 3 weeks ago

He's the same guy that said he deflated his now wife's tires so she'd need a ride from him (he was married to his first wife at the time), he'd later walk back that it was a joke after too many people heard it. https://people.com/politics/jesse-watters-addresses-viral-story-about-deflating-now-wife-tires/

Pulling the lever for Trump is like hitting yourself in the balls with a sledgehammer.

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago

...relevant username?

[–] newthrowaway20@lemmy.world 50 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I wonder what his wife thinks about that.

[–] Burn_The_Right@lemmy.world 50 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

She thinks whatever she is instructed to think. That's why she's still married to a fascist.

Says the guy who's wife has definitely had an affair already

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 39 points 3 weeks ago

Wouldn't be the first time

At the close of the segment, Watters offered his own humorous take, speaking about his wife Emma DiGiovine, a relationship which he admitted in 2018 began as an affair while he was married to his first wife Noelle Inguagiato and DiGiovine was a producer on his show. The affair prompted Inguagiato to file for divorce.

[–] TTH4P@lemm.ee 39 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Same guy who said voting for Harris makes you trans? Or was that a different FOX guy?

“It’s not the party of virtue, security — it’s not the party of strength — it’s definitely not the party of family. And to be a man and then vote for a woman just because she’s a woman is either childish — that person has mommy issues — or they are just trying to be accepted by other women,” Watters said. “I heard the scientists say the other day that when a man votes for a woman, he actually transitions into a woman.”

To their credit, Watters’ three female co-hosts on The Five made their displeasure with his statements known, only to be shut down by former wrestler and alleged sexual harasser Tyrus.

“He quoted a scientist,” Tyrus interjected.

I know we're not supposed to patronize or insult the poor fascists, but good lord the right wing is stupid.

“I heard the scientists say the other day..."

The scientists? The Scientists?! Were they at The Place doing The Thing? Do The Scientists also have a black friend? That we don't know because they go to school in Canada?

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Andrea Dworkin would’ve had a field day with that entire exchange

[–] SkyBlueSerenity@lemmy.world 30 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

Watters' claim that if his wife were to secretly vote for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris he would see it as “the same thing as having an affair.”

How does this guy's brain work? This doesn't even make sense.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 27 points 3 weeks ago

His brain works like this: I want XYZ thing, you belong to me so if you choose abc thing then you're violating our relationship where I control you.

[–] svc@lemmy.frozeninferno.xyz 12 points 3 weeks ago

He'll only let Trump cuck him; not Harris.

[–] FlowVoid@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

It's the "same thing" in the sense that they both already happened.

[–] Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 18 points 3 weeks ago

Having an affair with a nice stable person is fine if your husband is an abusive piece of shit that is destroying your family and home.

[–] blindbunny@lemmy.ml 14 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I hope bro's wife leaves him. Just for the laughs

That’s like six kinds of fucked up.

[–] ATDA@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

I'm sure she's already pulling other cranks there Jesse boy...

[–] Hadriscus@lemm.ee 7 points 3 weeks ago

Well that's settled... he's a closet democrat

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I guess next he will beat his wife?

Yeah im scared this kind of rhetoric will lead to lots of cases of domestic abuse after the election if harris wins. I hope im wrong.

[–] LEDZeppelin@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

At this point if Jesse’s wife isn’t having an affair, I’d be sad for her.

As they desperately try to close the show before knucklehead alienates any more women ...

[–] xc2215x@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

No it is not Jesse.
