They won't be devastated. They'll continue to watch the same "news" that will tell them how great the country is doing no matter what happens... and then continue to say how awful the Democrats are, and to blame them for individual problems.

They want Greenland because they know climate change is happening fast and need a safe haven until they're ready for Mars.

I stopped playing Mario Kart online with others on the Wii. Some players had set an infinite blue shells hack on. Just wasn't fun to play. Complained to Nintendo and they replied like there was nothing they could do or something like that.

You'd need all new accessories anyway with a complete redesign.

I've bought every Nintendo console up until the Wii U. Since they abandoned that early, I decided to skip the Switch. I'll likely pick this up. If this doesn't do well and gets abandoned early again, I'll at least get to play all the games I've missed over the years due to backwards compatibility.

I do think that aging is something we can overcome. It'll take some exponential jumps in research/technology for it to happen in our lifetime though. What worries me is the ultra wealthy hoarding that discovery for themselves.

You know, I always preferred Faith Hill's version of the Sunday Night Football theme song. Now, I prefer it even more.
