Vance will do what he's told and is non-retarded. I can see a play where Trump's cabinet colludes to 25th him, especially given recent events.

His health suggests that won't be necessary. If they 25th him they'll have to deal with his angry cult. The one thing Trump will reliably do is whatever he can to make rich people richer. There's no need to off him. His ridiculous antics provide great cover for all the evil shit these people do in the background with Trump eating up all the media coverage.

Don't start calling JD Vance "President Vance". That's weird.

Can you smell it?

Can you smell the fascists who finally are beginning to feel safe turning against Trump?

Yep. Trump and his friends were extremely short sighted and never considered what would happen when it got away from them. Now everyone will be a RINO and the infighting begins. With luck it will distract and dilute the conservative vote.

Even Alex Jones is critical of Trump these days. He still considers him amazing and all that, but he says Trump doesn't go far enough in some of the rhetoric. I'm curious to see if this is a litmus test for future defections

It's weird to think that there are people who feel there is any distance left to go beyond the way Trump talks. Suppose there's always a bigger fash

[–] stoly@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I think you meant “any distance right to go”.

I left that joke out, hat on a hat; but yes
