Ruining the image of nazis everywhere. What an inconsiderate ass.

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 27 points 6 months ago (1 children)

They had such a good reputation before all this, such a shame.

Squeeky clean. Such pacifist humanitarians.

Did six angry Nazis downvote this comment or what?

Probably the inevitable people lacking two brain-cells to rub together who either cannot identify sarcasm, or think that some topics are off-limits to joke about.

One of the many issues with spending too much time online is one's brain starts to lose track of how to react to different things, because while we may be talking about very serious or very silly ideas from moment to moment, but the brain still processes the whole thing as "sitting in front of a screen using your own voice to read a thousand different thoughts a day." And the brain will just start to package your behavior and thoughts in a way that blurs distinctions. You start to view all your interactions through a deeply biased lens your brain puts up to compartmentalize everything you read.

Wow uptight crowd

Wilson’s trial has been five years in the making after being plagued with a slew of delays, including the death of his first attorney, and Wilson’s brief escape from a holding jail cell.

You wanna stay free after escaping from jail / prison? Don't have a bunch of super identifying face tattoos.

I'm getting the impression that this character doesn't really think too hard about consequences.

Hey! You leave my PC out of this.

Aww, look how professional and all grown up he looks in his lil suit!

But it's not Hugo Boss black, as required by the nazi specs, so I guess it's jail for him. Fashion secret police can be brutal sometimes, but can't argue with the results.

Best I could come up with. AI gibberish text removed.

I recognize for non-comics fans this is a deep cut:

https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Wade_Wilson_(Earth-616)

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 7 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I'm not sure a major blockbuster starring Ryan Reynolds counts as a deep cut.

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 0 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I think the deep cut is knowing Deadpool's name is Wade Wilson. :)

Not really when the character is super stupidly mainstream, and has had two (with a third getting some serious hype on the way) feature films where they say his name constantly?

[–] BarbecueCowboy@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

As a kid growing up with deadpool comics, that is still a bit of a trip. Of all the Marvel characters that they could make movies off of, I would have put Deadpool near the bottom. I'll never get used to Deadpool being mainstream.

Death would be too merciful

[–] WaistGunnerPug@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

Burial at sea. Him being dead at the time of this burial is strictly optional.
