The first 90% of a project takes 90% of the time. The last 10% takes the other 90% of the time.
Painfully true
I go with the 80/20 rule. The first 80% of a task takes 20% of the time. The last 20% of the task takes 80% of the time.
Is it really a project if it's not 180% until completion?
I only give a full 180% when there's no clear cut example/description of the desired end product. And I only find this out after seeing other people's work and realizing that I way overanalyzed the assignment and was stressing and procrastinating about an over the top concept of what I thought they wanted
Unrelated, I spent over 6 months avoiding a final project for my degree that I banged out in 3 days. A week if you include the days between being told where and what to revise because I didn't add some files how they wanted them... Which wasn't documented.
