As a lifelong Linux user, windows is fine.
Linux isn't for everyone and acting like its end all be all is dishonest as fuck. Let folks use what they use and quit bellyaching about what others choose to use.
I would love to have a totally different OS option than Linux. That would be great. MS took that from me.
