God forbid someone approach political science from a neutral perspective

In public opinion polling there is typically a neutral option and a greater portion of people consistently choose that option than identify as socialist so I suppose you also have to be brain dead to think socialism is an option

Let’s explore that. If I had no position, I cannot “do politics”?

I guess I’m not so conceited as to believe the only way to participate in politics is to state a position. Maybe I have more political experience than you. What I think is going on though is that I know most people don’t care what I think, they care what they think.

Many professional political positions require some amount of neutrality and yet I think of those positions as more influential than the dumbass children in this thread.

"Would you eat this 2 week old hoagie I found in the back of my car?" I conducted a survey by randomly approaching people in the street with a 2 week old hoagie in my hand.

Polls:

Yes: 3%

No: 27%

Did not reply/told me to fuck off/called security/walked away as fast as they can/pepper sprayed me/pretended to be a deaf-mute: 70%

As you can see, the average person is neither for nor against eating a 2 week old hoagie, but rather a centrist 3rd answer.

True neutrality is aligning yourself halfway between two bourgeois imperialist parties

Wow, so insightful. And why do you think that is, Twitter user?

having his example be the senate parliamentarian is killing me lmao. like not only are they senators but people only know or care who they are because one of them blocked a raise of the minimum wage

smuglord Umm excuse me, the very important job of being the excuse for why no one can have a decent quality of life specifically requires you to be good at pretending you believe in nothing. If you're not good at it, people might think that we're being ideological when we ruin their lives on purpose.

that's what kills me about the guy. he genuinely believes that makes it apolitical

She thinks she fell from a coconut tree

she does not exist within the context

In the Russian civil war purity test we did a few days ago I picked neutral a few times because I had no idea what the question really means. I guess that's largely how it works in opinion polling too.

That shit was like "would you have eaten Borscht on the second bloody tuesday of 1907?"

mmmhmm yes how duplicitous!

[–] chgxvjh@hexbear.net 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

neutral

Face the wall, centrist

somehow this is way stupider with the context

I ... The amount being said with each of these contradictory nothing statements is shocking. People who want things that are literally unspeakable to them is great.

[–] CloutAtlas@hexbear.net 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The brain capacity needed to form statements that actually mean something would prevent you from wanting to sincerely be a centrist.

No these are very carefully empty.

You can see the words they don't say, that they trace their way around with the ones they do.

I'm sorry you got brain melted by the job postings. Truly, I am. But experience = good is one of the biggest traps you can have in a business. If you have 4 years at the torture think tank, you can't just work at the not-murder initiative because "we didn't kill the people."

If you're neutral on genocide that says a lot. Neutral because people are annoying you says plenty when there's a clear right and wrong. MLK had words for the white moderate and they weren't exactly a letter of recommendation. Your ability to be hired by ghouls is antithetical to being worthy of my respect.
