Impression: Having an opinion about something, often based on observation. Assumption: Something you accept without evidence.

Until you provide some evidence, you do not have the impression that I view this data to be useless, you have an assumption. You can most certainly have the impression that I was unkind though, as that's based on your feeling, which you seem to base this on. Either way, impressions can still be wrong. Which it was.

I thought I was supposed to be the science naysayer here?
