Israeli and Zionist influence in the USA is a purposeful choice of the American government. It allows the American government to circumvent many domestic and international laws by allowing Israeli firms to do the spying and dirty work for them. Israel is essentially a rogue state that is entirely controlled by the American intelligence apparatus (and therefore, American capital). This has created a feedback loop of constantly reinforcing settler colonialism and American economic extraction of the Middle East. If America withdrew support to Israel, this feedback loop would cease and Israel would be greatly diminished or completely collapse.

Saying Israel controls America is simply wrong, stop saying this. I will remove your post. ✌️

I'm not making a moral argument here. You're right that "Israel" helps maintain American hegemony. That doesn't mean that everything "Israel" does is an extension of American interests. "Israel" has its own interests as well which have nothing to do with America, any analysis of "Israel" that starts and ends with "this is just an American puppet" is not complete.

Dependency goes both ways. I did not say Israel is purely a US puppet, but the US has the ability to do anything it wants them at will, it is functionally an extension of the US state apparatus in many ways.

Zillionaires in general, big dem donors, GOP archliches, and their supporters all have disparate but overlapping interests. What's important here is the overlapping economic interest of neocolonialism, not the quibbles over "those bomb dollars should have gone to my welfare"
