Don’t speak ill of the people, shit on the gouv all you want.

Quebec is not a hateful place but as other places in the Canada hawful people fan the flame for political gain.

Other than Manitoba, it's the most racist and intolerant province I've lived in.

[–] jellygoose@lemmy.ca -1 points 4 days ago

Fuck off dingdong

Never heard this one. Care to explain on it ?

[–] Krudler@lemmy.world 0 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Well now you've heard it. That's your explanation - don't play dumb, it's not becoming.

No. I’m genuinely interested by your take. I’m all in to say that Quebec is one of the most racist province but I want (liked) some external experience

Edit: also I’ve heard Quebec is racist as Alberta but never as Manitoba

Hate is growing in Quebec and Canada is general due to conservatives and ultranationalists(PQ) anti imigration stand and the propaganda of islamists are trying to impose Sharia law and change our culture as if culture never involved before and influence other cultures. A 1600 canadian is different culturally than a 2020 canadian

I'm Canadian, pro-immigration, and yet I don't believe religious symbols belong in a child's daycare or school, regardless of the religion. I agree with this move.

[–] Mugmoor@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 5 days ago

Education and religion are inherently incompatible. If I saw my children's teachers wearing a cross, I'd question their ability to actually do their job, especially in the Sciences.

What worry me is those kind of things.

Protesters face off in Montreal over controversial presentation for land sale in Israel, West Bank

Why I didn't hear him criticize this

I don't think telling what sign a person use is something the state need to be involved in . I'm not that serious about this but maybe Paul can remove st aka saint from his name

He also complained about a lapresse article talking about the increase of anti immigrant sentiment where more Quebecor think immigration contribute the increase of criminality

He also believe in the Initiative du siècle which is the same rhetoric of the grand replacement as both promote the extreme fear of demographic changes

This legislation unfairly targets Muslims, in particular women.

Hopefully, my edit makes it clear enough.
