I appreciate you actually having an answer for this. I assume the "withoutNazism" version was just made mostly in jest as a respone to the "withoutCommunism" one by someone who disliked the "authoritarianism = Communism" logic

My assumption was that it was literal because of fascists liking amphetamines for whatever reason.

Well there's many reasons for liking amphetamines, ADHD, being really into math, being really into minimal techno, or in the case of fascists, unfortunately also staying up for three days on the Herman Göring pills to blitzkrieg your neighbors.
