You suggested people dropped the ball on it when factually there was never much interest t begin with. If you were an adult at the time, and Im only saying this because I dont know you, you wouldn’t be surprised that people were reticent to watch anything called “Millennium” in 1999.

I watched it when it originally aired. I guess that makes me an adult or old or a fan that saw the potential.

Factually the show was well received. Factually Chris Carter admitted the show could have been better or done more under different circumstances.

I suggested that Chris Carter and Fox dropped the ball, not “people”.

Factually the series high was 17 million people which would be incredible now but was poor for a weekend primetime show not in the premiere episode. The second season premiere is 7-8 million which is not good for the time period in that slot. When I say it wasn't well received Im talking in viewers as that is the only metric that matters to keeping a show on air at that time.

There wasn't much interest considering it was on Fox and it wasn't The Simpsons.
