I'm a dude, and I don't think I saw a single other dude's dick through all of high school.

You didn't? I inadvertently saw so many dicks in school. It was just normalised and nobody cared. The lads locker room was like a nudist beach after 15 or so. We just went about our business.
We used to go to a family gym growing up and the amount of old white guys walking around with their dicks dangling in the locker room was always weird.
The YMCA is like your introduction to dick. It's everywhere. They want to make you see it, than call you gay for seeing it.
Yeah, even in sports, it wasn't a thing. It wasn't till college/the army that a hurricane of unwanted dicks graced my eyes. And I'm not just talking showers.
