Yeah alright cheers bruv, how was yours?

Not that I want to brag or nothing, but coming off a night shift on a moist Monday morning and getting into bed just as everyone else is setting off for the day while you're getting into bed is just a perverse bliss that only a small fraction will ever understand. It's the working equivalent of taking off your socks at the end of the day.

It was alright cheers, a pretty quite week really!

I used to do night shifts in my first proper job and could never get into the rhythm of going to bed in the day. I'd sleep for about 3 hours and be wide awake at 11am. I do get what you mean though, hearing everyone starting their day, rushing around and you can finally relax and hear the rain and wind!
