the website calls it "the largest firing operation in history" and asks people to submit full names, locations, employers, and pictures by email.

zero chance any of the submissions will be vetted.

easiest defamation lawsuit ever

edit: if you're usa and depending on your state (california for sure), you "can't" be fired for political opinions. the quotes are because you still can be fired but you will have an actionable lawsuit

It brings to mind a tweet about someone who made a website where you could spoof a lawyer's letter. Looked it up, it was heavyweight.cc

The Palo Alto zoning board would never allow that.

That was before it was called the AIicescraper.

That's AI + icescraper. Not Alices + craper.

this could be a really good idea. would it be best for it to come from someone who's doxxed on the site?

How would they know? And if there's a bunch of half truths on the site diluted by pure forgery - how will they know what's real?

Gonna go ahead and redact the part about how vulnerable they seem to different simple strategies

Section 230 is a pretty strong immunity shield for internet sites:

No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.

Edit: Actually I'm not sure about it now. They don't allow automatic online submissions, so it's really not an interactive website, just a place to post dox.

I don't think that immunity applies when you are specifically soliciting illegal content.

It's hard to see on mobile, but the first example they have had the gal literally advocating for nonviolence, and hoping that Charlie Kirk survived.

Innocent people will get hurt by this.
