Shooter arrived on campus on Wednesday 11:52 AM local time. He climbed the staircase to the roof and opened fire at 12:20 PM.
Suspect is male, college aged, with black hair. Was wearing Converse shoes, a cap, and a shirt with an American flag and an eagle on it.
Current suspect is 28 or 29 years old.
A church minister who works with law enforcement got the suspect's father to get said suspect to turn himself in.
Gun used is a Mauser .30-06 bolt action rifle.
Shooter was "probably a hunter" (quoting the FBI)
If he is caught, it is likely that he will get the death penalty. (also quoting the FBI)
Initial "person of interest" turned out to be a dead lead.

We are so fucked. The FBI just read inscriptions from the bullets.

One bullet casing was inscribed with "Notices bulge. What's this? OwO"
Second casing said "Hey Fascist! Catch!"
Third bullet casing said lyrics to Bella Ciao.
Fourth Bullet casing said "If you read this you are gay LMAO"

The DSA shirt seems like it could have been a photo of a different person. "Hey fascist! Catch" is saying he wants to shoot fascists. Bella Ciao is a famous antifascist song.
