It works on the dock.
I literally tried it and it doesn't work it just tries to change the homepage

For anyone else, it works for me so it could probably work for you. YMMV. It is in beta.
Just to show it is in the dock, I turned background on.
yes it lets you do it but it doesn't work if you actually try to do it did you try or did you just set some options and then say it works
