There will probably be an interim government headed by a 'populist' leader who is currently the mayor of Kathmandu Municipality. At least thats what people are demanding. 'populist' in a sense like someone running in platform of change and improvement, not related to current establishment and is an independent candidate. and has done a lot of good so is very popular in the capital city.
The government's top brass has all been purged with no one left to take power. What should we focus on to prevent the same cycle of
liberal governance -> move to right -> revolution once again?
There was no organization and leadership in the current protest, everything was spontaneous so felt like it would be an easy target for bad actors to take over the current momentum.
so any advice and recommendation of materials on moment after 'revolution' ? also the problem, limitation and enemies we face. Only the political leadership has been over-thrown but the ruling class still control the economic power. I guess only their investment in the political candidates are down the drain.
I think "follow" would be an exaggeration, but I've read articles from like The Himalayan Times and I've read about the revolutions and the state of their nominally socialist ruling parties. Are you going to tell me that there's actually substantial dual power established and this is a good opportunity for a dictatorship of the proletariat or did you just see a chance to be aggro and jump at it, honest q
Are you confusing me with someone else? I never related "DSA action" to the Paris Commune that I can find on my profile, and I certainly don't remember making any such comparison, nor do I have any idea what line someone would draw between the two. If I'm not the one who did it and yet you're putting this shit on me then yeah, that kind of is taking "an excuse to be aggro," or really just making up an excuse, and faux-asking a question that is obviously dripping with contempt and then appending "honest q" at the end does not actually make it "nice". If you're saying sincerely that you were "going out of your way to be nice" then you really need to relearn how to talk to people on a pretty basic level to understand that that is not how communication works.
But my answer was overwhelmingly not about the Commune, that was just me acknowledging a prominent example of people organizing a socialist government during and after a socialist revolution rather than before despite my view that it really needs to be done before. Of course, it cratered pretty quickly anyway (hence "tried"), but they were able to accomplish some things even in their brief tenure.
I can, on the bright side, confirm with some confidence that you weren't banned for contradicting a Mamdani stans but for being an asshole, because I'm pretty abrasive and even I find your level of hostility jarring. Does your anger really seem proportional to you?
WDYM? Every time I see a comment from you, I think "Oh great, here comes purpleworm, going to talk about how DSA action is related to the Paris Commune again."
I'm not entirely sure what this other person is getting at, seems like they just wanted to pick a fight, and like a lot of lost liberals do, assumed that all the "tankies" were a hive mind or something.
