But for some reason, they still need to screenshot dudes fucking up excel spreadsheets and lowballing people on Facebook marketplace for 8 hours
Donโt forget about the porn. Then they can blackmail politicians to pass laws that force more people to use their shit.
As a millenial, I never understood this. Back when we were having LAN parties, we always shared our porn, so I know what pretty much everyone I care about tosses their salad to and they do know what I get off on as well. I'm impervious to that sort of blackmail, it's like a superpower.
It's a lot more effective on pedophiles.
This is why religious people hate the love who you want movement. Sexual shame or guilt is an extremely strong way to control someone. If you arenโt ashamed of who you are then blackmail like this doesnโt work.

I doubt their telemetry (if enabled) is good enough for targeted ads. Recall can give them a massive amount of information from your entire screen, it's a massive improvement for them.
