This kind of rhetoric (most of it; Hamas is a resistance organization and much of what they've been accused of has been proven false and Israel is refusing to allow any further independent investigations) is exactly what we've all been saying, and it's Marjorie Taylor Greene saying it?

Have I woken up in an alternate universe? Is the Mandela effect happening?

Literally that first part most especially: trying to explain to people by asking themselves to try putting themselves in the shoes of people from Gaza; it's a sentiment I barely see from pro-Palestinian democrats, but now MTG is saying it? Asking people to think about what it's like if they were going through this?

Also I want to mention, cause it bears mentioning, MTG actually spoke out AGAINST refusing Gazan children to go to America to receive aid.

Seriously, have I woken up in an alternate universe?

Yeah except for me a number of democrats have already referred to the Gaza situation as a genocide before MTG. And even among dems who haven’t described it this way, more and more are beginning to break ranks, vote against arms sales, start to criticize US policy on Israel, at least with regards to the current genocide. I do agree she has outflanked the core of the Democratic Party which remains staunchly pro-Israel, but the core of the Republican Party also remains staunchly pro-israel. There are congresspeople on both sides of the aisle breaking rank, MTG is not really notable in this regard.
