I think they thought that because A. they don't know Bob Rock and 2. They thought you were referencing the infamous black people vs. n-word routine.

There's an oft forgotten third option. It's entirely possible that the poster has heard of the existence of something elusive to modern society but ironically not to Chris: A joke.

It very well may be that they were subverting the OOP's obvious intent of calling kid rock racist by humorously spinning it as if he was talking about Chris Rock instead, despite all parties knowing the original poster's intent.
