Not to detract from the horribleness of this, but in case anyone else is wondering how Ukraine had/has the world's highest mortality rate with the Gaza genocide unfolding, the latter isn't counted because America doesn't recognize Palestine.

I'm not; I was just explaining the background of the "highest mortality rate" thing because it's not what one would expect (or at least not what I expected). I wasn't trying to compare the two.
