We already are, if you couldn't tell. Every single thing we post, spread our share as our doctrine to the wider community is considered "Pootin Kremlin SeeSeePee XiBucks-Funded Kompromat". Seriously. Go share any of your opinions with an earnest, honest, factual point to the wider community of lemmy. Try it, seriously.
You'll quickly find out that we are already considered evil at the worst, misinformed at best. Beyond that, people are well aware that Hexbear is a shitposting forum and already don't take things seriously.
I have found that these days telling those what they want (within reason, of course) and educating them later works a lot better than dropping a ton of theory on them from the get-go.
Yeah but proving them right is not gonna help either, that would just hurt us more.
