I'm honestly surprised no one has mentioned Chrono Trigger yet. Absolutely fantastic soundtrack.

Secret of mana 3 is also great. The track that comes to mind is "where angels fear to tread"

Chrono Trigger, Trials of Mana, and Final Fantasy 6. SNES had some phenomenal soundtracks.
