aioli

Poor man's ranch dressing for anyone not of the continent

How dare you, alioli is heavenly and ranch is disgusting. I've been to the US once and had the displeasure of tasting it.

Ranch isn't terrible on a salad, but that's where it should stay. Beyond that? Blegh. Some people even use the ranch seasoning as seasoning for other things, like fried chicken.

Aioli is more like flavored mayonnaise than ranch dressing

I mean it literally is in 99% of cases. Mayo got a bad rap for having too many calories and being associated with poor people so now they call same thing aioli.

I would argue that ranch is the poor man's aioli.
