Social conservatism always results in a hollowed out, soulless culture in which the fun, unique, and superfluous aspects of existence are steamrolled in favor of bland conformism? And it always applies to everything?

Lib ass take, this is just capitalism. Even capitalism in its most "progressive" version does this and it does nothing but this.

Social conservatism is not exclusive to capitalist economies. It's existed as a mentality for millennia before capitalism came to be, and still exists in socialist states.

You recognize that even "progressive" capitalism isn't progressive at all, so where's the communication breakdown here?
