Some people think Trump winning was good news.
So, good news is relative. I’m not making any comment about my personal views—which is probably not what you think based on your uncivil reply.
What’s even better news is that I have no idea what a “tag” is, and I use Voyager as my Lemmy client which allows me to hide the voting system entirely—so I don’t ever see what anyone thinks.
Not the other dude and only weighing in on Voyager.
You can tag users so a little badge shows up next their name whenever you see them. So you could tag this guy “uncivil” if you wanted to be reminded who they are.
To do this you can click my username, then click the ellipsis (…) in the top right and finally edit tag.
Interested in learning where the setting is to hide votes as that seems interesting to not be swayed subconsciously.
Example below.
Oh hey this works on Boost too and I had never heard of the feature until now. Thanks, kind stranger!
Oh that’s a handy feature.
The Hide Votes option is in Settings, Appearance, scroll to the bottom “Other” Category.
It’s a great feature. On Reddit there was always that horde mentality when it came to downvoting. Now I can’t see anyone else’s opinion.
Thanks dude.
Hey there, quick question about that (bear with me English isn’t my native language).
I tried to do what you said but unfortunately didn’t work (on both Mlem and Voyager). So what I did was;
Could you tell me what I’m doing wrong?
EDIT: For the ones on Voyager and had the same issue as me;
Ah my bad. I forgot you had to enable them first. It’s been a while.
