My ferret Lupo (AKA Big King Scrump) just had a heart attack and died in my arms right now
I'm writing this because if I don't, I'm going to scream and it's half-past midnight and I really don't want to tell the cops I'm screaming at midnight because my ferret died

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I'm going through it right now too and I don't have an outlet for it. My dog collapsed a few weeks back. Rushed him into surgery. Put myself into massive debt ($15K). I saved his life, but the biopsy came back hemangiosarcoma. He's probably got 8 weeks left at most. I've been numb for weeks while the bill collectors have been calling. He can tell when I'm upset and it stresses him out so I've been doing my best to be happy around him, but knowing he's going to be gone at any time is... tragic.
Put up a go fund me so you can get a mutual aid thing going. Or venmo idk I'm very tech luddite when it comes to modern Fintech.
