Experiments in tiny freshwater animals suggest that certain tumors manipulate their host’s body to increase the likelihood of being transmitted to the next generation.

Interesting...

I know some cancers have increased risk from specific virus infections, there are cancers in some animals that are transmissible.

But it can't be all of the diseases we lump together as "cancers" because some of them don't have any obvious means to propagate themselves.
