If it helps to convince you not to go, remember that the workers are super exploited.
Ethically it's on par with a normal ballet, but it's also charging $80 for the cheapest seat while the Colorado Symphony charges like $55. Those are the lord deterring me. I shouldn't be charged a premium for a hogwatch when I'm already not getting a good performance.
Just watch the Spring Festival Gala from like a week ago instead, CCTV has a highlights reel with some english along the bottom explaining stuff (45m) and CGTN has a stream VOD of the whole thing (5h15)
I was watching this live and when One Republic showed up I actually soyfaced. Did not expect that one.
Edit: putting the link here
XHS said it's cos the lead singer came out in support of Wuhan during the early days of the pandemic, he even got a tattoo of the Wuhan dish hot dry noodles
Yeah, that's kind of a jumpscare tbh

I genuinely can't believe they expect you to pay money to go there. When they were here I was also, sure for free I'll gladly take some chinese facist cult propaganda, but to have to pay 80 bucks for that experience is just ridiculous
