Tellers are as "complicit" in the authoritarian system as a McDonald's clerk is in animal exploitation. We can't hold these people responsible for the evils of their industry - they are comrades who are exploited by these industries as well as wage workers.
mcdonalds workers are part of the bourgeoisie actually if you really think about it. the actual proletariat is social media influencers and podcasters
