Right, now we just need a European provider for operating systems, office software and cloud services.

Microsoft is currently one of the biggest in this space for governments and businesses. But with Trump effectively canceling the EU-US data privacy framework, Microsoft is probably no longer compliant. Reactions will be slow, but if there is ever a time for a shift in the market, it's probably now.

There are a bunch of okay cloud providers in the EU, also Linux vendors, KDE is European, there is potential.

Therr are big cloud providers but they do not offer the total package. Services such as AWS offer great integration. What Europe might need is a company which bundles together all the existing separate cloud services to easily integrate.
