US is screwed. 4 years getting wrecked by Trump is best case scenario at this point, but if he has his way it'll all be fixed up so people don't have to vote anymore and then the country is really doomed.
Weird that I would feel safer with China as the superpower instead of a Trump America.
If the US is unable or unwilling to be a world leader, the EU must step up. China runs concentration camps and has a totalitarian government, not a good fit for the world, especially for anyone "different" from the regime.
EU is going fascist only slightly slower than the US and has been funding an actual genocide almost as hard. They will not be the world's hope.
The EU spent the previous year actively supporting a fascist ethnostate's genocide. They're also no less "totalitarian" than China.
This is some Josep Borell-level Western chauvinism, which is rich considering the support Europe has just given to an actual genocide.
