I feel any modern resurgent antisemitic movement wouldn't have camps for Jewish people but instead focus on deporting them directly to Israel. Then Israel would conscript them to the IDF and settlement projects.

yep, only reason Hitler didn't do this was that the logistics would have been too expensive and taken too long for their liking.

also Israel didn't exist at the time

I was going to mention that, but Zionists were encouraging Jewish people to move there for a while by then.

That's true. Either way, the Madagascar plan was probably the Nazis' first choice for how to ethnically cleanse Jews without doing the Holocaust, but the (capitalist) demand for slave labor and the logistics meant that concentration camps made more sense.

The nazis also drew up plans for deporting Jews to Madagascar, but like you said, determined it was too expensive and would take too long. They also thought it would allow Jews to organize more "backstabbing" and sabotage, since they'd have an official country from where they could threaten Germany.

They were so high on their own supply of propaganda and conspiracy nonsense and it wouldn't surprise me if similar Q Anon conspiracies lead America down a similar path. They'll deport a bunch of Latine people, which won't actually solve any problems, so they'll start assuming Mexico is secretly sending people across the border and back each day to blow up Texan oil fields or some shit.
